During Madame Clicquot’s day, Champagne was blended for sweetness, matching the consumer tastes of the time. These sweet champagnes were referred to by consumers as ‘rich’ wines. Russian royalty, who favored Madame Clicquot’s ‘rich’ champagnes, created their own twist to service by adding spoonfuls of sugar to each glass. Inspired by this history, Veuve Clicquot Rich Rose is the newest champagne from a brand synonymous with innovation, developed by Chef de Cave Dominique Demarville in tandem with expert mixologists.

PAIRING

The originality, versatility, and creativity of Veuve Clicquot Rich Rose is showcased only when paired with a variety of ingredients. Veuve Clicquot Rich Rose is crafted for mixing with fresh ingredients including fruits, vegetables, tea, and herbs, bringing a new twist to food and wine pairings, as the wine transforms with each ingredient.
